Ode to the Fashion Gods
Episode 1 of 4 — Ode to the Fashion Designers

A tribute to the designers who shaped fashion and culture for this generation. Episode 1 is out today.
Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 is on now, September 28 through October 6. This twelve-minute film follows the houses and the makers. Couture ateliers. Houses that turned glamour into a philosophy and black into a position. The cities that test a look once it leaves the runway: Paris, New York, Milan, London, Montreal. Winter as a stylist. The street as a critic. A gown as authorship, not shopping.
Fashion gets treated too often as the unserious art — vanity, shopping, something that happens after the real work of culture is finished. This film argues the opposite. Clothing is one of the oldest languages we have. A garment is an argument a body makes with the room it is about to enter. The people who design clothes are artists who work in a medium that has to walk.
